How much does Locken cost?

Nothing. Locken is free, with no ads, no subscription and no card.

What does the Shield close?

Games, social media and YouTube, from the moment a session starts until the timer ends. Work apps stay open, and you can add or unblock apps yourself.

Which computers does it run on?

Macs with macOS 15 or later (Apple silicon or Intel) and 64-bit Windows 10 or 11.

Does my data leave my computer?

Your focus history, notes, habits and Canvas assignments stay on your computer. Our servers hold your account, profile and any feedback you send. The Privacy Policy lists every service Locken talks to.

Do I need an AI key?

No. Everything works without one. With your own Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini key (18+), Locken can rewrite goals, suggest steps, plan your week and talk with you.

Can I stop a session early?

Yes. With Commitment mode on, ending, pausing or quitting waits a few seconds first, so stopping is a choice, not a reflex.
